St-Jean-Pied-de-Port – Exploring the Basque Country

Tranquil. Picturesque.

Established in the 12th-century, St-jean-pieds-de-port set in the Montagne Basque canton was the former capital of the Basque region of Base-Navarre. After our drive-in visit, we were convinced that one day we will also along with others walk the pilgrim route to Santiago de Compostela. We still dream of doing so.

A visit to Sevilla – Spain

At the Flamenco Theatre in the Casa de la Memoria. The intentionally small space connects the audience with the electrifying energy of flamenco. A must-see.

A visit to Málaga – Spain

Our route to Malaga: An overnight flight from Montreal to Malaga with a stopover in Zurich (SwissAir). An easy busy bus ride from the airport to Malaga City Centre.
